Ginger And Nut Cream Icing
This delicious ginger and nutcream icing is graced with ginger essence and syrup and chopped nuts. With its wonderful spreading consistency, spread it over your favorite cake to make it more scrumptious!
|Butter||4 Tablespoon (2 ounce)|
|Chopped ginger||2 Tablespoon (either preserved or crystallized)|
|Icing sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs) (10 ounce)|
|Cream/Top of milk||1 Tablespoon|
|Syrup/Ginger essence||1⁄2 Teaspoon (1/2 teaspoon)|
|Chopped nuts||2 Tablespoon|
Cream the butter, adding icing sugar gradually and beat until very light and fluffy.
Add a few drops of top of milk, or cream, to bring to a nice spreading consistency.
Add ginger syrup or essence and fold in chopped nuts and chopped ginger.
