1) In a saucepan, heat milk.
2) Mix butter with the hot milk.
3) Slowly add sugar to make right consistency for spreading.
4) Add vanilla flavoring.
5) Use the icing to spread on cake.
Prepare pink icing by adding one tablespoon strawberry or other fruit juice.
Prepare yellow icing by adding one teaspoon egg yolk. Flavor the icing with orange rind and one teaspoon lemon juice.
