Banana Split Topping
|Canned chunk pineapple||8 1⁄4 Ounce, drained (1 Can, Reserve Syrup)|
|Dark sweet pitted cherries in heavy syrup||17 Ounce, drained (1 Can, Reserve Syrup)|
|Cornstarch||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Bananas||2 , cut into 1-inch pieces|
|Ice cream||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Favorite Flavors)|
Reserve 1/4 cup syrup.
In medium glass bowl, combine remaining syrups, pineapple and cherries.
Heat at high3 to 4 minutes; stir once.
Stir in cornstarch blended with reserved syrup.
Heat at high2 to 2 1/2 minutes, or until sauce is thickened; stir once.
