Banana Caramel Topping
|Caramel ice cream topping||12 1⁄4 Ounce (1 jar)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Grated lemon peel||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Firm bananas||5 Medium, cut into 1/4-inch slices|
|Rum extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Vanilla ice cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
In a large saucepan, combine ice cream topping, lemon juice, cinnamon and peel.
Cook and stir over medium heat until heated through.
Just before serving, stir in bananas and extract.
