|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Strawberries||2 Cup (32 tbs), sliced|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
In saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch.
Blend in water until smooth.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened.
Add fruit; simmer just until fruit begins to cook.
Remove from heat; add butter and lemon juice.
