Easy Royal Icing
|Icing sugar||1 Pound (450 gram)|
|Lemon juice||1 Teaspoon|
Sift the icing sugar twice.
Place the egg whites in a bowl and whisk very lightly.
Add half the icing sugar and the lemon juice and stir until mixed.
Gradually beat in the remaining icing sugar until the required consistency is obtained.
If possible, leave the icing overnight before use.
Flavour and colour as required.
