Ingredients and Method Used as per Ice Cream Cone Recipe

The basic ingredients required in preparing a typical ice cream cone are white sugar, eggs, butter, vanilla extract, milk and sifted flour. The first step is to heat the sauté pan over medium flame while the sugar is whisked with the eggs in a mixing bowl. It is beaten until the mix thickens giving a frothy appearance and attains a pale yellow color. Butter, milk and vanilla extracts are integrated into the mix and finally, the flour is gently mixed into it. If the consistency of the ice cream cone batter is thick, more milk is added to produce a flowing consistency.

The next step in the process of making an ice cream cone  is to grease the pan with vegetable oil and pour four tablespoons of the mix into it and spread it thoroughly to form a thin circle. The batter is cooked until it is completely set and turns golden brown. It is then, flipped and the other side is cooked until it turns brown. The hot crepe is laid on the work surface and is given a cone shape by rolling. The tip is pressed so that the ice cream cone is sealed and the ice cream does not drip out of the cone.
