Peach Ice Cream
Peel and slice thin 2 cups, of soft, well-ripened peaches.
Mash and put through a potato ricer or coarse sieve.
Add 1 cup of sugar and let stand 1 hr.
Add to either the American or Philadelphia Ice Cream mixture just before freezing.
The amount of additional sugar needed depends on the sweetness of the fruit.
Canned peaches may be substituted for the fresh peaches.
Less' sugar is needed and 4 tbsp. of lemon juice should be added.
