Vanilla Ice Cream Sundae
|Semisweet chocolate chips||12 Ounce (2 Cups)|
|Dark chocolate||1 Ounce|
|Corn syrup||2 Tablespoon|
|Unsweetened cocoa powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Whipping cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vanilla ice cream||1|
|Sweetened whipped cream||1 Tablespoon, sweetened|
|Chopped pecans||1 Tablespoon|
|Maraschino cherries||1 Tablespoon|
1. Arrange chocolates on a double broiler place over hot water. Stirring occasionally melt the chocolate completely. Add cocoa powder and corn syrup and mix thoroughly. Mix in the cream and allow the mixture to heat till the fudge sauce is smooth and hot. Keep hot till served.
2. Take ice cream from the freezer, soften by keeping in the refrigerator for 5 minutes, arrange scoops into individual plates, pour over hot fudge, top with pecans, whipped cream and a cherry and serve.
