Peppermint Ice Cream
|Peppermint candy||1 Pound|
|Half and half||1 Pint|
|Whipping cream||1 Pint, whipped|
1) Combine the candy and milk together, cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 12 hours. The candy will dissolve after 12 hours of refrigeration.
2) Combine together the candy mixture, half-and-half and whipped cream. Mix well.
3) Pour concoction into a 1-gallon hand-turned freezer can or electric freezer's freezer can and freezer as per the instructions shared by the manufacturer.
4) Let the ice cream ripen for a minimum of 1 hour.
5) Serve chilled.
