Vanilla Ice Cream For Party
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs), scalded|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Granulated sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Corn syrup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cream||1 Cup (16 tbs), whipped (Light / Heavy)|
Gradually stir milk into eggs in double boiler top.
Place over hot, not boiling water; cook 5 or 6 min., or until mixture coats spoon.
Stir in next 4 ingredients.
Cool and chill.
Then fold in whipped cream.
If light cream is used, whip as in Whipped Light Cream, Method I.
Turn into the freezing tray of automatic refrigerator; freeze with cold control at coldest setting until half frozen.
Turn into bowl and beat well with.egg beater, then return to freezing tray, and freeze until firm.
