French Vanilla Ice Cream
|Sugar||18 Ounce (3 Heaping Cups)|
|Vanilla||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Whipping cream||1 Quart|
Beat eggs in large mixing bowl; add sugar and mix well.
Heat 1 quart of the milk to scalding point and pour over eggs and sugar, beating constantly.
Pour into freezer and add the other quart of sweet milk.
Beat the whipping cream and add to mixture in freezer, add vanilla last.
Freeze in hand-turned freezer.
