Fresh Berry Ice
|Fresh strawberries||1 Pint|
|Fresh raspberries||1 Pint|
|Granulated sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Orange juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Cointreau||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Wash and hull the berries and place them in a blender.
Combine sugar and water in a saucepan and heat, stirring continuously, until sugar has dissolved.
Add sugared water to blender; then add orange and lemon juice and blend until mixture is pureed.
Stir in liqueur.
Pour into wine glasses and cover with plastic wrap.
Freeze for 3 or 4 hours.
Do not freeze any longer or the ice may become too hard.
