Lime Ice

Ingredients
  Water 1 Quart
  Fresh lime juice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Lemon 1 , juiced
  Beaten egg whites 3
  Lime 1 , rind grated
Directions

Dissolve sugar in hot water.
Let cool, add lime and lemon juice, pour into cooled sugar-water mixture.
Taste for flavor; more or less juice and sugar may be added, according to tartness of limes.
Add grated lime rind, freeze to mush, then add beaten egg whites.
Freeze.
