Ice Cream in Pastry Shells
26 Nov 2007
Surprise guests dropped in for dinner recently. While I could rustle up an acceptable dinner quickly, I really didn’t know what to serve for desert - which isn’t my forte anyway. Using some crunchy pastry shells (bought from Goa on a recent trip), and some butterscotch ice cream, here’s what was served. Quite presentable, though a sprig of fresh mint would have gone a long way in improving its appearance.
|Scoop of butterscotch ice cream||1|
|Mint||1 Teaspoon (for garnish)|
|Nuts||1 Tablespoon (for garnish)|
|Dry fruits||2 Tablespoon (for garnish)|
|Chocolate sauce||1 Tablespoon (Accompaniment)|
|Honey||1 Tablespoon (Accompaniment)|
put the ice cream in the shells and serve.
