Ice Cream In Pastry Shells

sidkhullar's picture
Surprise guests dropped in for dinner recently. While I could rustle up an acceptable dinner quickly, I really didn’t know what to serve for desert - which isn’t my forte anyway. Using some crunchy pastry shells (bought from Goa on a recent trip), and some butterscotch ice cream, here’s what was served. Quite presentable, though a sprig of fresh mint would have gone a long way in improving its appearance.
Ingredients
Scoop of butterscotch ice cream 1
  Pastry shells 10
  Mint 1 Teaspoon (for garnish)
  Nuts 1 Tablespoon (for garnish)
Dry fruits 2 Tablespoon (for garnish)
  Chocolate sauce 1 Tablespoon (Accompaniment)
  Honey 1 Tablespoon (Accompaniment)
Directions

put the ice cream in the shells and serve.
