Strawberry N Banana Ice Cream
|Fresh strawberries||2 Cup (32 tbs), sliced|
|Heavy cream||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Light cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Honey||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Mix strawberries and 1/3 cup honey in a small bowl.
Cover, and refrigerate overnight.
Mash strawberries and strain, reserving both juice and pulp separately.
In a medium-size bowl, mash bananas.
Mix in strawberry juice, cream, and 1/4 cup honey.
Pour mixture into an ice cream maker, and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
If not using an ice cream maker.
When ice cream is finished but still soft, add reserved strawberry pulp, and allow the dasher to distribute pulp throughout.
