Strawberry Banana Splits
|Strawberry ice cream topping||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Banana liqueur/Strawberry liqueur||1 Tablespoon|
|Chopped nuts||2 Tablespoon|
|Bananas||2 , halved lengthwise and crosswise|
|Strawberry ice cream||1⁄2 Pint|
|Fresh strawberries||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Whipped cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. Place butter or margarine in a round, 8-inch baking dish. Microwave at 100% (high) 30 seconds or until melted. Stir in strawberry topping, liqueur and nuts. Add bananas, turning gently to coat with sauce. Cover with vented plastic wrap.
2. Microwave at 100% (high) 1 to 2 minutes or until bananas are warmed through; rearrange once. Spoon bananas into serving dishes. Top with scoops of ice cream. Drizzle with warm strawberry sauce from baking dish. Garnish with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
