Strawberry Ice Cream And Meringue Pie

Ingredients
  Baked deep 8 inch pastry shell 1 , chilled
  Strawberry 1 Quart
Directions

1. Preheat oven to hot (450° F.).
2. Pack the ice cream firmly into the baked pie shell.
3. Spread the meringue lightly over the ice cream, making sure it touches the pastry at all points.
4. Bake until the meringue is a delicate brown, or three minutes.
