Gelatin Banana Splits
|Jello gelatin||4 Ounce (One 4 Serving Size, Jell-O Package, Any Flavor)|
|Boiling water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cold water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||To Taste|
|Non dairy whipped topping||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), thawed (Cool Whip Brand)|
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Add cold water and pour into deep narrow bowl.
Chill until firm.
Just before serving, cut bananas in half lengthwise; brush with lemon juice and arrange in banana-split dishes.
Scoop gelatin onto bananas.
Garnish with whipped topping, cherries and nuts.
