Hot Dog Jambalaya
|Frankfurters||8 , sliced 1/2 inch thick|
|Rice||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), uncooked|
|Stewed tomatoes||2 Pound (2 Can, 1 Pound Each)|
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Garlic salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Boned turkey||10 Ounce, diced (2 Can, 5 Ounce Each)|
|Diced green pepper||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. In a large frying pan, melt butter or margarine . Add and saute frankfurters and rice stirring often, until rice is golden.
2. Add in tomatoes, water and garlic salt; stir well. Keep turkey on top; cover the pan.
3. Allow it to simmer, stirring once, simmer for 30 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
4. Transfer into a serving bowl; dust with green pepper and serve hot.
