Party Hot Dogs
|Frankfurts||10 (Long Thin)|
|Dill pickles/Gherkins||2 Large|
|Cheddar cheese||125 Gram|
|Tomato sauce||4 Tablespoon|
|Barbecue sauce||4 Tablespoon|
Cut almost through frankfurts lengthwise.
Cut dill pickles or gherkins into 10 long strips.
Place 2 dill pickle strips in 5 frankfurts.
Cut cheese into 10 sticks, place 2 sticks of cheese down centre of remaining 5 frankfurts.
Remove rind from bacon.
Wrap each frankfurt in a rasher of bacon, secure ends with toothpicks.
Grill or barbecue frankfurts until bacon is crisp.
Split, toast and butter buns, remove toothpicks from bacon, place in buns.
Serve with mustard, tomato or barbecue sauce.
