Hot Dog It's Beans
|Bacon slices||3 , pan broiled and crumbled (Reserve Drippings)|
|Chopped green pepper||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Frankfurters||1 Pound, cut into pieces|
|Canned baked beans in tomato sauce||34 Ounce (Two 17 Ounce Can)|
|Ketchup||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||2 Tablespoon|
Add green pepper and onion to bacon drippings in skillet.
Cook until onion is transparent and green pepper is just tender, occasionally turning with a spoon.
Put frankfurters into a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Add the beans and crumbled bacon.
Add ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce to onion and green pepper; blend thoroughly.
Pour over beans; mix lightly but thoroughly.
Cover and bake at 350Â°F 1 hour
