Pecan Lemon Honey Puffins

Pecan lemon honey muffins are nutty and flavorful muffins that are fun to bake and even better to enjoy. These pecan lemon honey puffins as I call them has a little bit of every taste in them. A wholesome treat, this muffin recipe can keep you full for a long time.
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Eggs 2
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Finely chopped pecans 3 Tablespoon
  Softened butter 90 Milliliter
  Honey 90 Milliliter
  Finely grated lemon zest 1 Teaspoon

In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.
Make a well in the center.
In another bowl, beat together eggs and milk.
Pour into flour mixture, beating just until smooth.
Fold in pecans.
Spoon batter into prepared muffin tin, filling cups two-thirds full.
(If using custard cups, place them on a cookie sheet.) Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until they puff up and are well browned.
In a bowl combine butter, honey and zest.
Spread over warm puffins.
NOTE: Try other flavored spreads with these puffins.
