Honey Rhubarb Betty
|Rhubarb||1 Pound, cut in 1/2-inch slices, about 4 cups|
|Sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Nutmeg||1 Teaspoon, ground|
|Honey||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||6 Tablespoon, melted|
|Bread slice||5 , cut in cubes, about 4 cups|
1. In 10x6x1 1/2-inch baking dish combine rhubarb, sugar, water, nutmeg and salt.
2. In a bowl blend honey and butter and stir in bread cubes.
3. Spoon over top of rhubarb and bake at 375° about 30 minutes or till golden brown.
4. Serve the Honey Rhubarb Betty hot with beverages or as desired.
