|Scalded milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dry yeast||1⁄4 Ounce (1 package)|
|Whole wheat flour||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Melted butter||1 Tablespoon|
|Glaze||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (adjust quantity as needed)|
Combine milk, butter, honey, and salt.
Cool to lukewarm by adding water.
Add yeast, mix well, then blend in egg.
Cover and set in a warm place for about 10 minutes.
Add flour, and mix until dough is well blended and soft.
Roll into an 18-inch square.
Combine butter, honey, and cinnamon.
Spread on rolled dough.
Roll as for jelly roll and cut into 1-inch slices.
Arrange in well-greased 11 x 7-inch baking pan.
Cover with damp cloth and let rise in warm place until double in bulk, about 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Mix butter and honey and drizzle over buns.
Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes.
