Apple Sage Stuffing
|Bacon slices||6 , diced|
|Chicken fat/Margarine||30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)|
|Diced peeled apple||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||45 Milliliter (3 Tablespoon)|
|Chopped celery||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped parsley||45 Milliliter (3 Tablespoon)|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Breadcrumbs||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
Saute bacon and chicken fat together until bacon is clear and limp.
Add next three ingredients; stir fry for 2 minutes, then remove from heat and toss in remaining items.
Makes enough stuffing for a large chicken or small turkey.
