Crookneck with Herbs

|Yellow crookneck squash||1 Pound (4 Small)|
|Rich chicken stock||2 Tablespoon (Concentrated)|
|Crumbled dried basil||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Onion powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Garlic salt||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Freshly ground pepper||To Taste|
Trim ends from squash and cut in half lengthwise.
Place squash in a saucepan with stock, basil, onion powder, garlic salt, and pepper.
Cover and simmer 7 to 8 minutes, or until vegetables are crisp tender.
