Tarragon Cream Dressing:
The tarragon cream dressing is a cooked salad dressing flavored with tarragon vinegar. Prepared in a saucepan with flour, salad oil and lemon juice, the tarragon cream dressing has milk and eggs in it too and can be used in amy salad of choice.
|Tarragon vinegar||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Salad oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Lemon juice||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Evaporated milk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
In a medium saucepan, blend flour with sugar, salt and vinegar.
Stir in salad oil.
Add eggs and lemon juice.
Cook and stir over low heat until thickened.
Beat until smooth.
Chill before serving.
