Sage And Onion Stuffing

Ingredients
  Onions 2 , chopped
  Fresh breadcrumbs 1⁄4 Pound
  Dried sage 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Melted butter 1 Ounce
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
  Nutmeg 1 Pinch
  Sugar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Place onions in saucepan.
Add cold water to cover, and salt.
Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer until almost tender.
Combine drained onion with remaining ingredients.
Add sufficient onion water to bind, about 1 tablespoon.
