Herb Compound Butter For Your Turkey

Thanksgiving Tip: Get the most flavor out of and into your bird this November by getting under it's skin! Try our compound butter recipe and rub it all over the meat. This way, the flavor is in the meat and not just on the skin.
Ingredients
  Unsalted butter 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (at room temperature)
  Chopped fresh sage 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Finely chopped green onion tops 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Chopped fresh parsley 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped fresh thyme 2 Tablespoon
  Prepared horseradish 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Coarse ground black pepper 1 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1. Whisk all ingredients in medium bowl. Cover and chill.
2. Bring to room temperature before using.

SERVING
3. Put the butter inside the turkey skin, roast and serve.

I thank you for the good idea of a butter rub. Every year when I do the prep work for my turkey the mess after it's in the oven from the butter is a nightmare. I will have to try this and see it it makes the difference.
