Fish In Garlic And Fenugreek
|Green chili||1 , chopped fine|
|Ginger||1⁄4 , chopped fine|
|Fresh garlic/10 cloves dry garlic, chopped fine||4 Clove (20 gm)|
|Fresh fenugreek leaves||2 Bunch (200 gm), chopped fine|
|Green garlic leaves||1 Tablespoon, chopped fine (Use Fresh)|
|Coriander leaves||1 Tablespoon, chopped fine|
|Green tomatoes||2 , chopped fine|
|Coriander powder||1 Teaspoon|
Clean the fish and cut it into pieces.
Coat it with turmeric and fry it lightly.
Season with salt.
Heat ghee in a heavy, flat pan on a moderate fire.
Fry the ginger and green chilli till quite brown, stirring continuously.
Add the tomatoes and spices and coriander and fenugreek and cook on a low fire for five minutes, or till the tomatoes become soft.
Cover with a shallow lid filled with water.
Cook for fifteen minutes.
Then add the fried fish and after five minutes turn the fish.
Cook for five more minutes.
