Easy Hash Browns Casserole

An easy casserole recipe that makes a lot. Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
  Frozen hash browns 2 Pound
  Cream of chicken soup 1 Can (10 oz)
  Sour cream 1 Pint
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Cheddar cheese 2 Cup (32 tbs), grated
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY:
1)Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2)Spray an 11x14 baking dish with cooking spray.
3)In a bowl mix frozen hash brown, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, onions, cheddar cheese, salt and pepper the above ingredients together and place it in the baking tray.

MAKING:
4)Bake the dish for 45 minutes or until brown on top.

SERVING:
5)Serve hot anytime of the day and enjoy!

hi Amy...!! :) I love hash browns..though i don't have them a lot, its kinda high on calories.. but they are yum..I can make this with a veg soup mix or onion soup mix too right..although then i wud be going easy on the added onions??

I love hash browns too... love them fried and slightly burnt along the edges, LOL. :-) Yummy... veg or onion soup mixes would be great. We didn't have shredded cheese, and my wife wouldn't let me get any this morning. (she's got the checkbook he he) So, I used a block of american cheese and shredded the heck out of it! Wish me luck! THX for this fun n easy recipe!
