Parmesan Cheese Leaves

Ingredients
  All-purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), cut into small pieces (1 Stick)
  Parmesan cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs), grated
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Black pepper 1 Dash
  Ground red pepper 1 Dash
  Cold water 2 Tablespoon
  Egg 1 , slightly beaten
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

MAKING
2.Take a middle sized bowl, put flour and butter in it and using a blender or 2 knives mix butter into flour unts.il butter pieces are small as peas.
3.Add cheese, salt and pepper and stir well.
4.Put 2 tablespoon cold water and mix to make into a ball.
5.Flatten the ball.
6.On waxed paper sheets, roll the ball to a thickness of 1/4 inch.
7.Cut leaf shapes by using a leave shaped cookie cutter.
8.Refrigerate the leaves by putting in between the wax sheet
9.Bake the leaves for 10 minutes after brushing with egg and sprinkling paparika.

SERVING
10.Serve warm with consomme.
