Cheddar Cheese Pears
|Pears/29 ounces pear halves, canned, drained||3 , cut into halves (fresh, peeled, cored)|
|Lemon peel||2 Teaspoon, grated|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon, fresh|
|Cheddar cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), shredded|
Arrange pears on large square of heavy-duty foil.
Sprinkle lemon peel and juice over pears.
Fill pear halves with cheese.
Fold up foil around pears; seal edges tightly.
Grill packet over medium-hot briquets 15 minutes or until pears are hot and cheese is soft.
