This californian hamburger recipe is prepared with minced sirloin along with raw onions and mayo. Seasoned with salt and pepper, the beef is cooked on the grill and served between split buns with tomato slices and dill pickle.
  Minced sirloin 8 Ounce
  Salt To Taste
Freshly ground black pepper To Taste
  Oil 1 Teaspoon (Leveled)
  Onion slices 2 (Raw)
  Mayonnaise 2 Teaspoon
  Relish 2 Teaspoon
  Tomato slices 2
  Pickled dill cucumber slices 4
  Sesame seed buns 2 Large

First switch the grill [broiler] to the highest setting—fierce heat is important for initial cooking.
Season the beef with plenty of salt and freshly ground pepper.
Divide into 2 portions and shape each one into a round patty about 1-1 1/2 inches thick.
Place on the grill [broiler] pan and brush with a little oil on both sides.
Grill [broil] for 1 minute each side then lower the heat and cook for about 5 minutes more on each side for medium cooked—or more or less according to taste.
Toast the sesame buns on the inside.
Place the onion rings and 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise on each bun.
Then put a hamburger on top, followed by the slice of tomato, the dill cucumber and finally the relish.
Top with the other half of the bun and serve.
