Filled Hamburgers

I first tasted this Filled Hamburgers at a friends place and absolutely loved it! It has always been a hit with family and friends and I am sure you will agree once you try this. So, make sure you dish out this Filled Hamburgers and do share your feeling with us!
Ingredients
  Ground beef 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Dry bread crumbs 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Onion 1 Small, finely chopped
  Egg 1
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Mix all ingredients except fillings.
Shape mixture into 12 thin patties, about 3 1/2 inches in diameter.
Top each of 6 patties with a filling, spreading to within 1/2 inch of edge.
Cover wih a remaining patty, sealing edges firmly.
Broil or grill patties 4 inches from heat, turning once, to desired doneness, about 10 minutes.
