Upside-Down Hamburger Dish
|Macaroni||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Onions||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), diced|
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Tomato sauce||1 Ounce, can|
|Package cheese||3 Ounce, grated|
|Eggs||3 , beaten|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain.
Saute onions in margarine until tender.
Add ground beef; brown well.
Stir in tomato sauce, salt and pepper; simmer for several minutes.
Spread in greased 2-quart casserole.
Mix cheese with macaroni; spoon over ground beef mixture, packing firmly.
Mix eggs with milk; pour over macaroni.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until golden brown.
Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
