Mushroom Hamburger Pizza Pie
|Mushrooms||1⁄2 Pound, sliced|
|Minced onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Tomato sauce||8 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Canned tomato paste||6 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Ground beef||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Mozzarella cheese||1⁄2 Pound, grated|
|Unbaked pizza crusts||2|
1. Heat oven to 450°F.
2. Melt butter in the skillet over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms and onion and cook until tender but not browned. Add Tabasco, tomato sauce, tomato paste, oregano and salt.
3. Cook beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, stirring with a fork until meat is broken up and has lost its red color. Add cooked beef to tomato mixture and simmer 5 minutes.
4. Arrange 1/4 of the cheese on top of each pizza. Spread with 1/2 of the tomato meat mixture and top with remaining cheese.
5. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until dough is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
