Ingredients
  Ground beef chuck 1 1⁄4 Pound
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground black pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

1. Shape ground beef into 4 patties, each 3/4 inch thick, handling meat as little as possible. Sprinkle patties with salt and pepper.
2. Heat 12-inch skillet over high heat until hot. Add patties and cook about 4 minutes per side for medium or until desired doneness.
