Spicy Hamburgers

  Lean minced beef 350 Gram
  Onion 15 Milliliter, grated
  Breadcrumbs 30 Milliliter
  Cardamom 5 Milliliter
  Worcestershire sauce 5 Milliliter
  Dried egg powder 15 Milliliter
  Water 15 Milliliter
  Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Frying)
  Hamburger buns 4
  Sliced tomato 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Onion rings 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Gherkins 1 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste

1. Mix together the minced beef, onion, breadcrumbs, cardamom, salt and pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
2. Blend the dried egg and water to a smooth paste and mix into the meat mixture. Turn on to a floured surface and form into 4 flat patties.
3. Heat the oil in large frying pan and fry the hamburgers for 3 minutes on each side for medium rare or 5 minutes on each side for well done.
4. Place each hamburger in a bun and top with sliced tomato, onion rings and a sliced gherkin. Serve with tomato ketchup and a side salad.
