|Barbecue sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Grated american cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Pickle relish||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chopped onions||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
Combine the beef, eggs, salt and 1/2 cup barbecue sauce and mix lightly.
Divide into 16 portions, then gently shape into thick round patties.
Place about 1 teaspoon each cheese, relish, onion and remaining barbecue sauce on half of the patties, then top with remaining patties.
Press edges together to seal in filling.
Broil for about 5 minutes on each side, basting with remaining sauce after turning.
Serve in buns.
