PotatoTopped Hamburger Dinner
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cooking oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Ground chuck||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Frozen peas||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Brown gravy mix||1 1⁄2 Ounce (2 Packages, 3/4 Ounce Each)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Instant mashed potatoes||175 Gram, mashed (For 6 Servings)|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Combine onion, celery and cooking oil in 2qt. glass casserole.
Microwave at high setting 4 minutes, or until tender, stirring after 2 minutes.
Crumble ground chuck into onion mixture.
Cover and microwave at high setting 6 minutes, or until meat loses its pink color, stirring after 3 minutes.
Pour off excess fat from meat.
Stir in frozen peas, brown gravy mix, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and water.
Cover and microwave at high setting 12 minutes, or until peas are tender, stirring after 6 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare instant mashed potatoes, according to package directions.
Drop 6 spoonfuls of potatoes around edge of casserole.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Microwave at high setting 1 minute, or until cheese is melted.
