Hamburger Foldovers

Ingredients
  Ground beef 2 Pound
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Shredded cheddar cheese 4 Ounce (1 Package)
  Bottled steak sauce 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Hamburger buns 8 , split
  Tomatoes 2 Medium, sliced
  Sliced onion 1 Large, peeled, sliced, and separated in rings
Directions

1. Mix ground beef lightly with salt and pepper; divide into 8 portions.
2. Pat each into a 6-inch round on a piece of wax paper or foil; spoon about 2 tablespoons cheese in center. Fold round in half, using paper or foil to lift meat; press edges together to seal. Brush patties with steak sauce.
3. Grill over hot coals or broil, turning and brushing with more steak sauce, until meat is done as you like it.
4. Toast buns, then butter, if you wish. Put together, sandwich style, with meat patties, tomato slices and onion rings.
