|Port wine/Fruit juice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Smoked ham slice||1 , cut 1 1/2 inches thick|
Combine wine and brown sugar in measuring cup.
Place ham slice on rack in broiler pan.
Broil or grill 4 to 5 inches from heat, basting frequently with wine mixture.
Broil 12 to 15 minutes on each side.
