Cherry Baked Ham

Cherry Baked Ham is a mouth watering recipe. An easy to prepare ham recipe wont let you forget its taste forever. So, give it a try and squander its taste!
  Canned ham 4 1⁄4 Pound (1 can)
  Brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Honey 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
For cherry sauce
  Cornstarch 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Allspice 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground cloves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Red sour pitted cherries 1 Can (10 oz)

Remove ham from can.
Place ham, fat side up, on shallow pan.
Combine brown sugar and honey; spoon over ham.
Bake in slow oven at 325 degrees 1 1/4 to 2 hours.
Baste occasionally with drippings.
Cherry Sauce:
Combine dry ingredients.
Slowly add juice from cherries.
Cook until thick and clear.
Add cherries and red food coloring.
Serve hot, spooned over baked ham.

I once was treated to a baked ham with instead of pineapple slices garnishing the top, tart cherries attached with cloves on each of the diamond that were cut into the surface of the ham; and either basted with the cherry juice or marinated in it. Really good. Years ago. So now I'm trying to devise the recipe, or if anyone knows one, I'd love to know. Mike
