Gingered ham slice is a super simple yet delicious and savory ham recipe made that can be baked in your oven. The ham is siply baked in a flavorful marinade of ginger ale with brown sugar, orange juice, mustard and wine vinegar. Flavored lightly with cloves and ginger, the gingered ham slice can be served with bread for dinner.
  Fully cooked center cut ham 1 , sliced 1 inch thick
  Ginger ale 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Orange juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salad oil 1 Tablespoon
  Wine vinegar 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dry mustard 1 Teaspoon
  Ground ginger 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground cloves 1⁄8 Teaspoon

Slash fat edge of ham.
Combine remaining ingredients; pour over ham in shallow dish.
Refrigerate overnight or let stand at room temperature 2 hours, spooning marinade over ham several times.
Heat in a moderate oven (350°) about 30 minutes, brushing frequently with marinade Or broil over low coals about 15 minutes on each side, brushing often.
To serve, spoon remaining marinade over ham.
