Tender, juicy ham with a sweet ginger-peach glaze is the perfect holiday dinner! And it's so easy!

MAKING
1. In a very large pot over high heat, place ham with enough water to cover it and bring to a boil.
2. As the water starts to boil reduce the heat, simmer uncovered for 1 hour.
3. In a sauce pan, put all the remaining ingredients, except wine, cinnamon sticks and lettuce and cook over medium heat stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.
4. Remove the saucepan from heat and keep warm.
6. Preheat the oven to 375 °F.
5. Carefully remove the ham from the pot using 2 perforated ladle and place on a rack in the roasting pan.
7. Pierce the cinnamon sticks in the ham, stream the red wine all over the ham.
8. Drizzle the glaze over the ham, and bake in the oven for 45 minutes.
FINALIZING
9. Remove the pan out of the oven, take out the cinnamon sticks and slice the ham.
SERVING
10. Arrange lettuce on the serving plate, slice and place the ham on top.
11. Spoon the pan drippings over the ham and serve hot.
