Hi everyone and welcome to the GialloZafferano kitchen. Today we'll be preparing Saltimbocca alla Romana. This is a very well-known main course from the region near Rome prepared with veal and is very simple and quick to prepare

Directions

MAKING
1) Place a parchment paper on the counter and put a veal slice on top
2) Fold the paper and using a meat mallet, beat the meat to make as thin as possible
3) Cover the veal slice with a parma ham slice
4) Make the veal look presentable
5) Place a sage leaf in the center and fix it with a toothpick
6) Onto a frying pan, melt some butter and cook the veal
7) Cook on both sides
8) Add the white wine and then allow to evaporate completely
9) Add in the pepper and allow to cook for about 10-12 minutes

SERVING
10) Serve with veal with some bread and the white wine poured over the veal
