Ham Ring

Ingredients
  Ground cooked ham 1 Pound
  Ground pork 1⁄2 Pound
  Soft breadcrumbs 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Milk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Prepared mustard 1 Tablespoon
  Firmly packed brown sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Prepared mustard 1 Teaspoon
For cherry sauce
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Canned pitted dark sweet cherries 16 Ounce, undrained (1 Can)
  Burgundy/Other dry red wine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1 Preheat the oven to 325°F.
2 Lightly grease a 4-cup ring mold.

MAKING
3 In a bowl, mix the first 6 ingredients.
4 Press the mixture into the prepared mold.
5 In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and 1 teaspoon mustard.
6 Crumble over ham ring.
7 Bake for 1 hour.
8 Meanwhile, prepare the cherry sauce: in a small saucepan, add sugar and cornstarch.
9 Drain the cherries well.
10 Gradually add the juice to the sugar mixture, stirring well.
11 Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
12 Stir in the cherries and Burgundy.
13 Cook until heated well.

SERVING
8 Carefully invert the mold onto a serving platter.
9 Serve hot with Cherry Sauce.
