Easy Serve Baked Ham

Ingredients
  Canned ham 6 Pound (1 no.)
  Apricot preserves 1 Pound (about 1 1/4 cup, 1 jar)
  Whole cloves 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1 Preheat the oven to 325°F.
2 Slice the ham.
3 Tie it together with a string.

MAKING
4 On a rack in a shallow baking pan, place the ham, fat side up .
5 Spread the apricot preserves on the top.
6 Stud with cloves.
7 Heat in a slow oven, about 15 minutes per pound.
8 Baste with pan juices 3 or 4 times while baking.

SERVING
9 Transfer to a serving platter.
10 Cut and remove the string.
